About the Event
According to Buddhist Sutras, the merits of light offering to the Buddha are endless. Here is a list of a few:
1. Physique: blessed with clear eyesight, fine appearance, and good health and energy.
2. Wisdom: blessed with the ability to discern good and evil, not to be affected by ignorance, and to uphold wholesomeness.
3. Career: blessed with benevolent friends, accomplishments, and fortune.
4. Retribution: blessed with noble family, seeing the Buddha at end of life, and rebirth in the realms of heavens.
Our temple will hold the 2022 Light Offering Inauguration Dharma Service on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at 10:00am. The services will be streamed live on YouTube.
