YAD Gives Back

At this year's conference, we have decided we would choose a charity and ask all of our YAD Subdivisions to fundraise for this charity. Since this year's theme is Bodhisattva and Volunteer, we can directly contribute to a good cause by volunteering some of your time to fundraise for this organization. It's time to show off the power of BLIA YAD and the difference we can make.

This year we have selected an organization dedicated to providing children with deworming medicine in poverty stricken countries around the world. This organization's work has provided over 3 million people with the proper medication they need and the education to prevent the intestinal worms from getting back into their system. We will reveal this organization and the total amount raised at this year's regional conference.

With $4.25 you can deworm 250 children. $500 can deworm 29,412 people.

I believe we will be able to achieve our goal! Please bring your fundraising efforts to the registration, so we can tally up our grand total!

All this requires exact names and number of attendees. Even transportation has to be arranged for your planned arrival. so get your flight information into us asap!
