1. We are planning to have some friendly competition on the night of Buddha's Light.
2. Basketball Tournament
   1. Half-court 3-on-3 with two substitute players.
3. Tug-of-War
   1. 10-on-10.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS

What to except.

1. Hotel Rooms are pre-assigned separated by male and females, grouped by subdivision.
2. Rooms will be 5 people to a room, with each room consisting of two queen-sized beds, and a pull out couch.
3. Wi-fi will be provided free of charge.
4. Common areas are available until lights out, when everyone should return to their assigned rooms for the remainder of the evening.
5. Hotel amenities include pool, fitness center, and business lab. Use at own risk.

EARLY ARRIVALS

Are you arriving on August 4th? The day before Conference officially begins?

Due to the overwhelming amount of conference attendees arriving a day early. We need to charge $10 to help subsidize some additional hotel costs. So please an extra $10 the day of arrival. Thank you!

We have to book several rooms for an additional night. So please don't forget.

1. Also bring extra money for meals on your free time. We will be providing meals during the time of the conference, but before and after conference will be your responsibility. So plan accordingly.

TEAM LEADERS

are you a leader? do you bring out the best in others?

We are looking for responsible, easy-going, inspirational YAD members to lead a team of YAD members during the conference.

We hope to assign two team leaders for each of our 10 groups during the conference.

1. You will be asked to help coordinate your team.
2. Keep everyone involved in team activities
3. Evening meetings with Orlando Staff to report any issues arisen throughout the day. And provide input on ways to make things run smoother.

2 years ago, we were selected to host the 2009 BLYA Regional Conference. After all the hard work, fundraising, and planning it is finally here!

None of the above! It's the 2009 Buddha's Light North America Young Adult Regional Conference. whew!

Don't let the name fool you. The conference will deliver various interesting programs that meet the needs of participants according to their age, such as Dharma session, personal development workshops, games, and performances. Delightful vegetarian meal, convenient and comfortable accommodation, souvenirs and excellent services will be provided for all the participants.
