New Sememster Classes

Adult Chinese (Mandarin) Language Class: 1:30pm-3:30pm (10 week program) ($100 fee/excluding materials)

Children’s Chinese (Mandarin) Language Class: 1:30pm-3:30pm (15 week program) ($95 fee/excluding materials)

Children’s Sunday Class – 10:30am-12:30pm (10 week program) ($40 fee)

Weekly Activities:

BLIA Young Adult Division (Ages 18-35) - Meet and Greet (Every Sunday!) – 1 smile fee

Come meet our Young Adult Division!  Current members consists of:

• High School Students (Brevard, Orange, and Volusia Counties)
• College Students (UCF, UF, FSU, Valencia CC, etc)
• Young Professionals (Lockheed Martin, Harris Corp (Melbourne), Disney, etc)

So no excuses!  You’ll fit right in.  We love to meet new people!

Some of our goals and projects for upcoming year:

• Community Service – Helping around the community is one of our major goals!  Some events we’ve done in the past. Hands on Orlando, Relay for Life, Second Harvest Food Bank, Ronald McDonald House.
• Environmental - Trying to help the Environment, we plan on signing up for Adopt a Highway and adopting a Recycling Program at the Temple.
• Temple - We help around the temple from planning huge events or organizing a volunteer appreciation party.  Recently we Fundraised, Planned, Organized and Completed a Buddha’s Ligh Young Adult Regional Conference which hosted 150 YAD members from across the United States and Canada for 7 days!  We organized the lecturers, lead discussion groups, and planned a tour of Orlando!
• Social Events – Potlucks to Ice Skating, Nature Trips to Gatorland.  We have several events for bonding and team communication.

BLIA Young Adult Division – Pre-Teen (Ages 8-16) - Meet and Greet (Every Sunday)

• Overseen by Young Adult Division (YAD)
• Helps YAD and BLIA
• Given responsibilies suchas planning upcoming events.
